Operations Coordinator


The story of CarPal starts with Mr. Maarten Hemmes, our Founder/CEO. An innovator and entrepreneur at heart, Maarten launched his first startup in legal technology at the tender age of 22 in the Netherlands. Maarten also has over 10 years of software development experience through his own IT company serving clients in Europe, U.S. and South East Asia. Inspired by the uberization of services and recognising the rising demand in last-mile logistics in South East Asia, Maarten launched CarPal in July 2014.

CarPal is transforming the way local goods move around in cities by enabling anyone to get any product delivered within an hour. Through our revolutionary urban logistics & on-demand delivery platform, businesses and consumers can connect real-time with local couriers, who deliver goods or run errands on their behalves anywhere in a city.

Since our launch in July 2014, CarPal has been met with immediate success and exponential growth. CarPal is currently serving thousands of businesses across different industries and consumers in Singapore.

    As an operations coordinator, you are the primary point of contact for our customers and drivers.

    • COMMUNICATE: Responding to incoming general enquiries through phone calls or emails
    • MANAGE: Tracking daily orders and handling incidents from both drivers and customers
    • COLLABORATE: Working closely with the operations team to carry out daily operations effectively and efficiently
    • REPORT: Reporting your progress and feedback on a weekly basis to CarPal's management team

    • Must be permanently residing in Singapore (Work Visa/Permit not provided)
    • 2 years of working experience in operations and/or customer service is strongly preferred
    • Fluency in English is required; fluency in Mandarin is a definite plus! 
    • You know what is it like to provide great service and have patience when dealing with complicated situations
    • Your communication skills are 10+
    • You are efficient, pragmatic and a problem-solver
