Content Strategist

Bolt is a content marketing platform that connect brands to content creators and provide them the collaboration tools to create great content.

Our mission is to help brands tell great stories and help content creators find meaningful work.

Responsibilities

-Help our clients to develop and execute content marketing initiatives on major platforms

- Lead an ongoing ideation process for new story identification through suggestions (e.g. soliciting pitches, generating story ideas) and informed by social/search data

- Guide the creation of articles, videos, infographics, slideshows and a variety of other content types

- Operate a predictable and manageable workflow, meeting the needs and expectations of various stakeholders and creating a process that allow others to feedback into the process

- Manage an editorial calendar by communicating with internal stakeholders, writers, designers and vendors

- Produce, curate and/or manage content (copywriting and design)

- Identify and vet content creators from Bolt's network

- Monitor clients' social media channels, initiate conversations with and respond to community comments referencing established brand and community guidelines within a timely manner

- Enforcing tone, style and editorial best practices with creators

- Develop Bolt's community strategy including content marketing, PR, events and social media with the core team

- Assist with other projects for copy, graphic, and calendar creation across all channels

Requirements

- Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues, internal/external clients and vendors

- Digital marketing technology skills and familiarity with industry standard applications

- Great editorial eye, a gift for project management, and the ability to adapt and respond in a fast-paced content marketing environment

- Process improvement and organisation skills

- Good communication, analytical and conceptual skills
