Merchant and Customer Support Manager

eatigo – Recently funded by TripAdvisor, winner of several start up awards and recognized as the Number 1 discounted restaurant reservations platform in South East Asia, we currently have operations in Bangkok, Pattaya and Singapore and will expand to other markets in the near future.

Seeking a highly motivated and energetic candidate for the position of Merchant and Customer Support Manager.  The candidate will manage the merchant and customer support team to create a balance between merchant requirements and user expectations. Has the ability to work in a fast paced environment, under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism is crucial to this role.                                  

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for merchant onboarding, merchant management and user experiences.

  • Manage a team of 3-4 who will be on the front line of the business, responding to merchant and user enquiries and requirements

  • Lead, motivate, and develop merchant support and customer support team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment to deliver

  • Manage key merchant accounts and analyse different ways to optimize merchant revenue

  • Work in cross-functional teams such as sales and marketing to ensure your teams are delivering exceptional merchant and customer experiences

  • Be a Subject-Matter Expert on your team’s processes and policies

  • Responsible for identifying trends within your team’s’ performance as well as overall support trends

Requirements

  • Prior experience in leading teams
  • Proven ability to manage effectively, set team goals, develop people and guide through challenging situations
  • Self motivated with a strong affinity for problem solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
