Responsibilities

You know how every team has that one person who serves as the glue that holds everyone together? Every marketing team needs glue, too. Reflective, analytical, strong, strategic Gorilla Glue.

As a Chief Marketing Officer, you will work to create scalable processes that ensure best practices in branding, lead generation, online & offline marketing management. You will also conduct complex data analysis that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.

 

Vision, Strategy, and Leadership

  • Develop high quality marketing strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives

  • Develop Kaodim’s brand identity; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences across the Region

  • Create marketing/public relations strategy that will allow Kaodim’s leadership to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences, including the media and key stakeholders across SEA

  • Drive growth across Kaodim’s businesses

  • Managing and/or overseeing marketing budgets and expenditure

  • Identify challenges faced by the organization, working with leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external marketing  opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them

  • Develop all elements of Kaodim’s social business, designing and driving Kaodim’s Digital Marketing strategy and tactics

  • Serve as Regional Marketing and Communications subject matter expert

 

Operations

  • Oversee all marketing activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission

  • Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions that help promote and/or impact the organization

  • Exercise judgment to prioritize media opportunities, and prepare talking points, speeches, presentations and other supporting material as needed

  • Actively engage, cultivate, and manage press relationships, partnerships and social media to ensure coverage surrounding Kaodim’s programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects


 

Team Development/Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Marketing Department including budgeting, planning and staff development

  • Recruit and manage appropriate Marketing and communications team to support the development and execution of the marketing and communications strategy

  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality

  • Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis.

  • Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities and conduct annual performance appraisals

 

Requirements

Digital Marketing | P&L Management | Content Management |Google Analytics/ SEO/SEM |Consumer Analytics & Strategy| Customer & Vendor Loyalty Strategy & Implementation | Regional Marketing Strategy Planning & Implementation | PR & Media Planning |Team Leadership

  • Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications, media relations, and marketing program to advance an organization’s mission and goals

  • Substantial experience in a senior marketing management role either in-house or with an agency

  • Experience in planning, writing, editing, and production of newsletters, press releases, annual reports, marketing literature, and other print publications and directories, as well as  developing and implementing social media strategies

  • Demonstrated skill in proactively building relationships with top tier partners

  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output

  • Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of marketing and communications specialists

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution

  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
