Agents Marketplace Manager, Philippines

BeMyGuest is one of the fastest-growing travel startups in Asia. It has won multiple innovation awards and was named by Fast Company as one of the world's top 50 most innovative companies in 2016. The Agents Marketplace is an online platform where travel partners purchase attraction tickets, tours, and activities at wholesale rates.

We are looking for a talented agents marketplace manager, who will manage relationships with our travel partners and drive the growth of BeMyGuest's Agents Marketplace in the Philippines. Reporting to the Head of Agents Marketplace, you will be the primary contact between BeMyGuest and its travel partners in the Philippines: travel agencies (online and offline), hotels, and concierge services.

You will have the opportunity to develop and grow the market in the Philippines, and contribute directly to the business expansion of BeMyGuest in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and high-performance driven.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify and sign up new travel partners to join the Agents Marketplace platform in the Philippines
  • Manage relationships with existing partners in the Philippines, and increase revenue and bookings
  • Train and support travel partners using the marketplace
  • Identify, recommend, and execute pricing, product, and market strategies to optimise the performance of the Agents Marketplace in the Philippines

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years working experience
  • Sales hunter: fearless, goal-oriented, and with a can-do attitude
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing partners/clients
  • Travel industry experience and a good network of contacts in the Philippines a big plus
  • Self-motivated and result-driven
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English and local language required (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
  • Availability to travel - This role may require some local travel within the Philippines and to the Singapore (HQ).
