Country Manager

Digital Fineprint is an InsurTech start-up that was founded in 2016 at Oxford University in the UK. We work in the intersection of social media and insurance and are leading the way in the rapid evolution of digitalising the insurance industry. Our technology successfully improves the customer journey – reducing drop-offs whilst increasing online conversion rates, we have the ability to harness social media data for smarter underwriting, pricing, cross-selling, targeted marketing and ensure customers receive an insurance policy that is right for them – thereby lowering the risk of being under-insured.

Digital Fineprint were named "Best General Start-Up in the UK” in 2016 and have previously worked with Allianz as part of the Allianz Accelerator, with Accenture as part of their FinTech Innovation Lab and most recently have been selected to partner with MetLife’s Singapore based LumenLab as part of their collab programme. In December of 2016 they closed their seed funding round having raised $400k taking investments from Eos Venture Partners and a number of industry angel investors.

The business development manager at Digital Fineprint will be responsible for identifying new sales leads and pitching our product to new clients. We are new to the Asian market and we are looking for someone who will be able to improve our market position and achieve financial growth. Client management and project implementation will be your key areas of responsibility, alongside being part of our leadership team to help craft our strategy on how to go to market more broadly and establishing new features to add to our platform. Above all, we are looking for someone who has the ability to identify potential customers, present to them, close sales deals and help our business expand.

We receive many enquiries from industry leaders about our award-winning technology, and many are reaching out to us for pilots, partnerships and sales agreements. We are looking for someone who has experience in the insurance industry and can speak to potential clients in a language they understand, who can use their initiative to locate new customer needs. As well as this, it will be important to build long-term relationships with new and existing customers and arrange regular business meetings.

It will also be required that the business development manager works with the Singaporean government and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
