GLOBAL SOURCING: Connect to partners in export-selling markets to publish their product listings on WeShop. As of now, buyers could browse items and shop WeShop, Amazon, Interpark (Korea’s best website), Dhgate (China’s wholesales sourcing) directly on WeShop platform. Buyers could also use WeShop as a shopping and shipping assistant to buy on any websites in US, China, Korea.

LOCAL MARKETING: Focus on the products that are unavailable or more expensive if buying locally.

LOCAL PAYMENT: Collect payment from buyers through preferred payment methods (not necessary credit card) and then pay sellers on-behalf.

GLOBAL LOGISTICS: Consolidate purchased items to WeShop’s centralized warehouses in product sourcing countries to save logistic cost, then ship the consolidated packages to buyer. WeShop also offer very helpful concierge services such as photo service, detailed inspection, repacking … that help buyers more confident with cross-border shopping.

LOCAL LOGISTICS: Fulfill all custom clearance procedures and duties on-behalf of the buyers then deliver every single item or package to respective buyer's home.

PEACE OF MIND: Receive and settle after-sales issues (if any) with the seller on-behalf of the buyer.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate policies to executives and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency and taking corrective action when needed

  • Assign work to staff as required to support the workflow and daily metrics

  • Assist with the training of new associates to ensure they have the right knowledge to carry out tasks required

  • Assist the Operations Manager by ensuring there is sufficient resourcing for your function including call outs for training needs, absence and performance management, coaching and continuous monitoring of department productivity

  • Assist the Operations Manager with monitoring, tracking, trending and reporting of departmental metrics, costs analysis and partnership review to reduce lead time and operational costs

  • Assist the Operations Manager in analyzing and understanding the reasons behind success and failure in meeting departmental goals

  • Follow up and solve process-related area issues as required

  • Manage customer service escalations and interface with relevant stakeholders where necessary

  • Be able and willing to work to flexible schedules/shifts and commit the time required to get the job done
  • Assist the Operations Manager in updating new regulations related to operational activities

  • Support country executive assistant and group finance, including but not limited to:

    • Provide daily, weekly or monthly reports regarding orders received, purchases, shipment received, delivered orders, and inventory status

    • Provide supporting documents for revenues and expense

 

Requirements

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

  • Adept at analytical work and the ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners

  • Proactive, well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to efficiently multitask and follow through issues

  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic environment

  • Having Diploma/BA degree

  • Proficient in using MS Office, especially Excel

  • Fluent in English and local languages

  • Prior experience in operations, preferably in ecommerce, trading or logistics company is a bonus
