Assistant Accountant

We're a small growing team in Malaysia responsible for serving Andatech's customers in Australia and NZ. While the team is mainly responsible for marketing and customer service, we are looking at expanding operations in Malaysia within the next year to include IT, sales, and operations. The first year's goal will be to sell a range of air quality products such as air purifiers, humidifiers and dehumidifiers to the Malaysian and South East Asian market.

Responsibilities

Looking for someone who loves all aspects of accounting work to join an Australian-based company in Malaysia

Responsibilities:

  1. Data entry for the holding company and subsidiary company

  2. Monthly bank reconciliations.

  3. Support in monthly reporting including variance analysis in spending, sales and costing.

  4. Familiar with the regulatory compliance in Malaysia (e.g. EPF, SOCSO)

  5. Preparing financial account for year end submission to the tax accountant and auditor

  6. Payroll reconciliations and submission of payment

  7. Provide constructive input to the oversea spending

  8. Helping to establish internal control

 

Office location: Taman Tun Dr Ismail
Work: Part time, 3 days a week (Mondays - Fridays) 7am to 3.30pm

Requirements

  • Accounting degree holder

  • Experience with accounting software

  • Experience with intermediate Microsoft Excel and Office skills

  • Experience with internal control

Salary

1500 - 2500 MYR
