Data Analyst

C Channel is positioned as a combination lifestyle magazine/video site that showcases content related to fashion, food, travel, and pop culture. Each video is just one minute long, the better to capture short attention spans, and most are shot and edited by professionals. C Channel’s target audience is young women in their teens to thirties.

Responsibilities

1. Look at data to understand how people interact with our products and help us make better decisions about how to improve them.

2. Dig through and analyze data in our databases, raw usage logs, Google Analytics to gather useful insights and present them to various stakeholders.

3. Establish product usage patterns, spot trends and assist the production and business teams.

4. Using data and numbers to tell us things we didn't know about our users.

5. Work closely with the Production, Business, and Media teams to help grow our user base and revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above with minimum experience of 1 year in data analyst or data scientist.
  • Highly proficient in SQL.
  • Experience with data presentation/visualization techniques and tools (like Qlikview, Tableau) to invoke right questions and actions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
