We are looking for an exceptional online performance marketer and who has the digital capabilities to drive and grow Active8me’s acquisition. This is a key overall role in the business that could grow into more.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•       Online Marketing – you will have responsibility for managing and driving digital customer acquisition and conversion optimization. That is; you will be in charge of managing the strategy, execution and optimization of all online acquisition marketing across various channels (eg online pay-per-click and cost-per-acquisition campaigns, and non-paid digital marketing strategies). You will manage the full customer cycle – from acquiring, to converting users to active and loyal customers.

•       Execute – plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and other marketing/advertising campaigns.

•       Optimisation – use data (Google analytics and other analytics tools) and A/B testing (eg subject lines, time of send, content etc) to continuously measure and optimize campaigns and conversion points throughout the marketing funnel, in order to boost results and lower cost-per-acquisition.

•       Idea and Strategy Generation – you will generate new and creative growth strategies (tailored to the unique needs of each client and based on customer lifecycle segmentation and predictive analytics) (NB: this includes helping crafting landing pages, lead-gen forms, CTAs, conversion strategies etc)

•       Measure, Analyse and Report – track and analyse all digital marketing campaigns. Assess against goals (ROI, KPIs). Report these, along with recommendations to executive team

•       CRM Campaign Development & Optimisation – you will work with the existing marketing stack (Infusionsoft at this stage) to develop and optimize CRM campaigns.

•       Lead, manage and recruit top tier talent – to be the best we want to recruit the best. You will lead or manage an external performance marketing agency and over time build, manage and lead an internal digital team that will excel in a busy & fast-paced environment.

•       P&L / Budget Management – you are responsible for managing and implementing online marketing budgets against key targets.

•       Maintain Consistent Branding – Work alongside graphic designers and other marketing specialists to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all marketing efforts and ultimately create and build Active8me’s overall brand and, most importantly, our revenue.

•       Stay Up-To-Date with Industry Best-Practice – you are responsible for staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends and competition within paid search and the digital space in order to keep us ahead. Identify trends, insights and ideas. Communicate this knowledge with the key executive team as it relates to overall marketing efforts, product development and overall strategy.



Requirements

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong Digital Marketing Experience – you have extremely strong and proven experience in digital customer acquisition in highly competitive sectors. That is, in developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies and delivering successful, proven results. (Please note this does not just mean leading teams that have done this – this role is a hands-on role given the nature of a startup).
  • Strong Technical skills - paid – in-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies (mainly email and mobile) including paid search, retargeting, look-a-like campaigns; social network advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest etc); online media buying; as well as content distribution and placement networks like Outbrain and Taboola.
  • Strong Technical skills - unpaid – in-depth knowledge of various online marketing strategies, including SEO, landing pages, A/B and multivariate experiments, auto-responders, calls-to-action (CTAs), tripwires, funnel optimization etc.  
  • Analytics – solid knowledge of website, campaign and social media analytics tools. You are a data driven marketer.
  • Infusionsoft – experience with Infusionsoft is beneficial and preferred
  • Html – working knowledge of html, CSS and javascript development and constraints
  • Management of P&L / Budgets – you must have practical hands on experience in managing and implementing marketing budgets and daily ROI focused campaigns.
  • Performance driven – you are a proven results oriented person with a delivery and performance focus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Asian experience Ideally, candidates should have a good understanding of target markets and experience of developing successful digital campaigns in these regions. Ideally, you have multi-region experience and the experience of working across multiple territories simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with the startup environment – while startup experience is not required, experience and comfort building and leading under uncertainty is important. You have the ability to embrace change, pivot, adapt to strategies on the fly, work under pressure, and to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Overall marketing experience – an understanding of overall marketing strategy is desirable eg experience of above the line advertising, working with agencies / outsource suppliers / ad networks / affiliate marketing are also desirable.
  • Ideal previous sectors & experience – online gaming, online dating, health and fitness and any other highly competitive online markets
