Customer Operations Manager

Snapask empowers students to learn more effectively and confidently through the use of technology. Our first product is an on-demand tutoring service which has been used by over 300,000 students and 10,000 tutors across Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.

Responsibilities

What does success look like for this role?

  • Students, parents and tutors are satisfied with using and/or paying for Snapask’s products
  • Paying customers have an excellent experience and continue purchasing Snapask’s products

What will I actually be doing in this role?

  • Ensure that customer inquiries and issues are promptly and adequately resolved
  • Build relationships with customers to drive purchasing behaviour and keep avoidable paid customer churn rate to a minimum
  • Identify product issues which detract from the customer experience and make recommendations to resolve them
  • Work with the marketing to drive tutor registrations and grow the pool of approved tutors serving our students

Requirements

What do we think will make you successful in this role?

  • 2 to 3 years of experience relevant to the tasks above
  • At least 1 year experience leading a customer service team
  • Be able to empathise with others and imagine what it’s like being in another person’s shoes
  • Be detail-oriented, proactive and have the drive to meet the needs of those around you
  • Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
