Customer Service and Operations Intern

Direct Lending is an online personal lending platform that provides the underserved fast, simple, safe and affordable access to credit; helping them to meet their emergency needs and achieve their dreams. Our mission is to make transparent and affordable credit accessible to everyone at anytime, anywhere.

Direct Lending commenced operation late 2016 by distributing personal financing underwritten by our financing partners and since then, our monthly loan disbursement volume has increased 7 times. Direct Lending is a participant in 2017 Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre’s (MaGIC) Global Accelerator Programme.

We are a team of finance and technology professionals with a combined experience of more than 30 years gained from working across Malaysia, London, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Responsibilities

You will be part of the Customer Service & Operations team that are integral to delivering a better borrowing experiences to our users. Your responsibilities include:

  • Call with prospective borrowers to provide assistance from checking eligibility to disbursement of funds. Delivering remarkable borrowing experience for each customer
  • Handle customer enquiries from all communication channels (calls, live chats and email) in a professional and courteous manner. Be accountable and know the loan products well
  • Identify and communicate feedback from customer to management for continuous improvement. We want to deliver the best borrowing experience to our users
  • Manage relevant paperworks. Be organised
  • To assist in preparing and implementing marketing plans, roll out to the channels and continuous monitoring and providing feedback on performance.  Influence the direction of the business

Requirements

  • Have a customer service mindset. Always tactful and professional in your approach to represent the Direct Lending Brand.
  • Highly organised, confident, self motivated and persistent
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English
