Business Development Manager

The Working Capitol has set out to create spaces that inspire, motivate and empower people to do their best work. Offering a range of workspace solutions, community programmes, and professional and lifestyle events aimed at inspiring growth and well-being for the networks it supports.

Following the launch of its flagship location in the heart of Chinatown, The Working Capitol has recently opened its second space in the Central Business District, providing solutions for organisations of all sizes and access to facilities such as a pool, gym and a variety of food & beverage establishments. Companies come to The Working Capitol to attract and retain top talent, as well as build corporate cultures that will sustain them in the long run.

The Working Capitol plans to grow into a regional network of sites grounded in shared workspace environments and deeply ingrained in the neighbourhoods and cities in which it will operate.

Relationships are key to the success of our business – ensuring there’s alignment, building and cultivating relationships with new and existing members, tenant and partners.

We have ambitious, and some may say crazy, plans ahead. But we’re excited for our next phase of growth and are looking for a highly driven and skilled individual to spearhead our business development initiatives, strategically building relationships with brands that align with our vision, generating leads and nurturing them through to closing.   


Your focus will be on prospecting and generating leads in accordance with our brand and site acquisition strategy, to key accounts in the enterprise, F&B and retail sectors.

Fostering and building relationships with, commercial property agents, 3rd party contacts and partners to generate new businesswill be key to building your network and generating new business.

Collaboration across teams will be frequent, including Projects, Operations and Marketing, to deliver a wholistic experience to prospective clients. 

Be creative in your sales tactics, creating customized business solutions through consultative selling and service. 



You have a minimum of 5 years experience in business development and enterprise sales the hospitality industry

You have a proven sales record and hold key relationships with companies of all sizes

You possess outstanding commercial and real estate acumen with knowledge of local and regional market trends

You have an entrepreneurial spirit, are self-motivated and performance driven, with out-of-the-box thinking to create solutions for prospective clients

You have pProfessional communication and presentation skills with the ability to network at senior levels & build strong business relationships

You are passionate about the future of work and/or trends in the F&B and retail space
