Responsibilities

FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS OBJECTIVEs (FBOs):
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving Sales performance of the business through their own efforts
and by managing a team of sales executives to identify Sales opportunities and executing on the
opportunities. The Sales Manager will contribute to the company’s success through:

  • Developing sales strategies and motivating the Sales team to execute these strategies effectively;
  • Identifying sales opportunities and ensuring the successful execution of these opportunities;
  • Generating sales revenues through effective sales process management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CRITICAL DRIVERS:

Driving Sales Performance

  • Generating leads to add to the sales pipeline and tracking these appropriately;
  • Initiating relationships with potential clients with a view to convert them;
  • Develop presentation and proposals for clients and present these in regular meetings;
  • Lead pitches, meetings and follow ups;
  • Responsible for selling digital media ad placements, content development services & health and wellness technology solutions.

Team Management

  • Identifying key areas of improvement and providing necessary training for team members;
  • Source, Interview and Hire key team members to improve results whilst managing budget;
  • Track and Monitor key performance indicators of team and individual team members to reach targets;

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years working experience within Sales and Business Development;
  • Digital Experience or Experience selling digital Media. Previous experience in a Digital Marketing Agency or Media Agency is preferred;
  • Experience selling to and working with healthcare companies: FMCG companies, Pharmaceutical Companies and the like;
  • Bachelor Degree from top University;
  • Highly Independent and can manage own time well to ensure maximum productivity;
  • High level of professionalism;
  • Willing to be on call and work irregular hours;
  • Extremely organized and with proactive focus on providing support;
  • A desire to learn and grow personally and professionally;
  • Ability to be extremely confidential in all information handled internally.
