Responsibilities

  • Design and review the Marketing department’s budget
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Develop an omni-channel vision and strategy to drive new customers (borrowers and investors) and revenue that align with long-term business goals and strategies priorities
  • Conceive, develop, and implement creative marketing strategies and campaigns that strengthen the MoolahSense brand, brand awareness to support business solutions
  • Continuously refine comprehensive marketing plans across channels
  • Develop and Execute data driven marketing campaigns
  • Make recommendations based on data to inform messaging, media decisions, conferences, digital/social strategy, and tactical improvements to drive greater effectiveness and improve ROI
  • Leverage analytical tools across various channels to develop insights and effectively manage content
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the Management
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization and work with key functions to recognize internal and external marketing opportunities
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Track competitors’ activities
  • Manage relationships with associated vendors.
  • Act as thought-leader and change-agent for: all aspects of branding, public image; marketing and advertising strategy; external communications; industry and media relations; marketing campaigns, and marketing metrics
  • Own positioning, messaging, branding, segmentation and marketing strategy
  • Work collaboratively across Senior Leadership to develop long-term marketing strategies, strategize initiatives, propel brand positioning and to attain all financial metrics and profitability goals
  • Leverage the latest technologies to improve branding
  • Ensure external communication plans are aligned with business needs and communications strategies
  • Serve as external communications counsel to leadership team and position them as thought leaders and spokespeople, driving corporate narrative and thought leader platforms
  • Develop and manage relationships and effectively interact with a range of stakeholders, including senior executives, to understand how external communications can support business priorities
  • Write, edit, and / or oversee the development of blogs, bios, pitch letters, press releases, executive announcements, talking points, and media alerts, etc.
  • Partner with key functions, to create coordinated communications campaigns on key initiatives and to develop social media content, and online content
  • Establish strong internal relationships and partner across the business to drive positioning, messaging and to respond to media issues with a coordinated approach
  • Continually enhance ability to track marketing activity effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement company’s social media agenda
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure consistency and quality in external communications
  • Manage content for website and other marketing vehicles
  • Develop and execute both digital and direct mail marketing efforts to existing customers to stimulate repeat purchase, upsells, cross-sells, auto delivery signups acceptance and brand engagement.
  • Deliver strategies and progressive results in digital properties for web presence, mobile conversion, customer acquisition, customer experience and driving revenue across all channels and product categories
  • Create self-service dashboards, along with regular reporting for various paid, owned and earned marketing channels
  • Identify and recommend emerging trends and advancements in web technologies to drive new business opportunities that focus on ROI
  • Lead innovation for creative, marketing and technology to drive growth, revenue and position the company as a leader in Marketplace Lending arena.

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, crisis communications, media relations, or public relations
  • 5+ years of experience as a senior communications leader;
  • Experience working with external marketing and public relations agencies
  • Experience in marketing strategy development and planning
  • Experience in advertising campaign development
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of e-Commerce technology and marketing including SEO/SEM/Facebook Advertising and sophisticated in digital and customer analytics
  • ​Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
