Kwikcar is the Airbnb for cars in South East Asia. Operating out of Malaysia, Kwikcar is an exciting early stage peer to peer carsharing platform that connects people with idle cars to people who needs them occasionally.


Kwikcar is an on-demand peer to peer carsharing platform. We connect people with idle cars to those who need them on an occasional basis. We aim to disrupt the car rental industry and in the process redefine the perception of car ownership. Operating out of Malaysia as its first market, Kwikcar seeks to be the dominating car rental platform in South East Asia. As a Digital Growth Marketer, your objective is to drive double-digit week-over-week growth at one of the most exciting early stage start-ups in Malaysia. The role requires you to take a holistic approach to digital marketing. You are fascinated at why some choose to be users and engage and why some don’t. You care about growth but more importantly, you desire to understand the user mind-set and product flow to replicate successful methods over and over. Whilst you have a passion for data and moving metrics, you are also a creative problem solver. Constantly curious, you have an insatiable desire to learn and always want to be better than your last experiment. 


• Manage all performance marketing across mobile and web: paid acquisition, conversion optimisation, email and engagement, partner marketing.

• Drive the entire channel strategy including planning, content, implementation, monitoring, optimisation, analysis and reporting.

• Work closely with the Product and Tech team to develop and build new features to improve and enhance customer experience and engagement. 

• Develop new acquisition, engagement and retention programs (e.g. corporate programs, subscription model, etc).

• Constant experiments to identify and refine acquisition channels and optimised conversion funnels. 




• 2-3 years of growth marketing experience at a top tier marketplace business, ecommerce or tech company.

• Excited to operate in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

• Proven ability to identify and test new channels.

• Effective at implementing and measuring channel success.

• Sound knowledge in Good AdWords, Facebook and Instagram Advertising.

• Ability to work across teams as well as individually to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment.

• Able to balance attention with swift execution. 



• Track record for managing marketing budget across multiple channels to over perform on acquisition and engagement goals.

• Expertise in Excel, SQL, and any other analytical tools. 

• Experience working in a diverse and global environment where your team members come from all over the world – Indonesia, Iran, France and Maldives (we’ve had an Austrian and Portuguese too).
