Digital Community Manager

Responsibilities

Introduced in 2006, crowdsourcing is the combination of "crowd" and "oursourcing" and describes an online problem-solving and production model. Since then, crowdsourcing has turned into a powerful source of expertise, sharing and brainstorming.

Our client is an online crowdsourcing platform where women entrepreneurs share their challenge, give support, receive support, inspire each other and solve each other' problems.

They are looking for a highly independent and tech-tools-savvy Marketing & Community Manager to be responsible for the growth and management of a fast-growing platform and represent the brand to all aspects of the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the public face of the company, interacting with individuals across diverse professional backgrounds
  • Define and execute the marketing and community strategies
  • Analyse existing community member data and use this information and knowledge to further grow the platform including the launch of a product listing feature
  • Organise online activities to keep users highly engaged through creating conversations and engaging with members
  • Develop effective marketing campaigns and facilitate all offline and online community communications

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communciations or related field
  • Previous experience in a digital marketing or community manager role
  • Excellent knowledge of latest digital marketing tools and strategies including email marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound analytical skills and data-driven thinking
