Digital Marketing Executive

Datesmith is an offline dating platform of our online Paktor mobile application, but it serves as an independent company with its own database and clientele. Our business aims to offer greater opportunities for singles to meet through organizing social events, as well as personalized dating services for those who prefer one-to-one dating. With our strong partnerships with some of the finest hospitality and lifestyle organisations, Datesmith regularly hosts a range of attractive events to create an inviting ambiance that makes it easy for singles to get together and mingle.



We are seeking a performance- marketing specialist to help accelerate our customer acquisition program and expansion plans. The Digital Marketing Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team on all aspects of digital marketing campaigns in Malaysia.

Digital Advertising

  • Develop digital marketing strategies for customer acquisition across multiple digital advertising channels
  • When the digital advertisements are running, initiate ongoing ROI analysis to evaluate and measure efficiency and effectiveness of various digital advertising channels
  • Achieve customer acquisition targets by setting up, testing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns
  • Provide post- mortem campaign report detailing trends analysis and actionable recommendations for improvement and growth
  • Leverage on creative and unconventional means to find untapped sources of advertising traffic or customer sign-up

Email Marketing

  • Oversee daily email operations, coordinate email production and QA processes to ensure emails are accurate and deployed on time
  • Lead A/B tests in subject lines, creative and copy tests to improve open-rates, click-through rates and conversion
  • Maintain and analyse weekly and monthly reports for email KPI results diving into subject line open rates and creative review click-through rates
  • Optimize emails for both desktop, tablet and mobile devices

Community Management on Social Networks

  • Develop social media engagement strategy for the Malaysia market, source and promote high quality and inspirational content
  • Assume responsibility for Facebook page interactions and identify opportunities of engagement with the community
  • Identify new areas of content that should be perused and plan how to get such content sourced and reach amplified through social networks
  • Use a defined toolkit to help to measure and monitor social activity by understand why certain content performs better than the rest and providing actionable insights for next-steps backed by social data



You are someone based in Malaysia who is meticulous and efficient. You are also someone who constantly strives to achieve your goals and highly proactive in getting tasks done.

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in related field
  • Outstanding written and oral English communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Facebook/ Google ad platforms, Mailchimp
  • Competent with Google and Microsoft office tools
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands, meet deadlines and manage time efficiently
  • Available to start work immediately
  • Highly analytical with the ability to read data and make recommendations for future enhancements to our messaging and content
