Junior Fullstack Test Engineer

Omnimatics is an Information Technology company that produces connected in-car technology that offers car trip reporting and driver performance feedback from the convenience of your smart devices.


  • Perform functional and automated testing for the full application stack for CARdio®
  • Update and improve on current automation test suite
  • Assist in implementation and planning of testing strategy at Omnimatics
  • Document and implement functional and automated test cases
  • Collect and create test data for functional and automation testing
  • Communicate with developers and project manager for testing related activities
  • Provide accurate estimates and timeline for testing related activities
  • Ensure that quality standards are met for any development related activities
  • Be accountable for tasks that are assigned and adhere to timeline
  • May be required to assist with development work during testing downtime


  • Up to date with testing related methodologies and technologies
  • Programming or scripting knowledge, preferably in Javascript/ Nodejs using Mocha framework
  • Hands on experience with Android/IOS/React Native development is preferable
  • Basic understanding and know-how of using MySQL
  • Understanding of test-driven development and agile software methodologies
  • Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities
  • Commercial awareness on software development
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of defect and bug tracking process
  • The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems/ Information Technology (applicants from other fields of studies will be considered if they are able to show that they have the passion).
  • One year working experience but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
