Account Management Executive

Ever had average catered food? Catersmith is a business that aims to put an end to average catering by ushering in the age of catered food from quality restaurants. Our business handles the delivery and buffet line set-up for restaurants while they concentrate on what they do best - cooking. For customers, the Catersmith portal offers a wide range of hand-picked restaurants and cuisines to choose from. We are looking to hire people who are self-initiated, driven and are eager to learn through hands-on experiences. Interest in the food & logistics business is a plus!

Responsibilities

Catersmith serves many corporate customers like Airbnb, Carousell, Cisco and General Electric on a subscripion or ad hoc ordering basis. The Customer Account Management Manager will be the account lead for a portfolio of these corporate customers. 

 

The main goals of the Customer Success Manager are:

  1. To help your portfolio of corporate customers maintain team morale and bonding through food
  2. To maintain a good and close relationship with the customer
  3. To plan menus and manage the meal budget and nutritional needs for the customer
  4. To upsell new menus and food activities to the customers

 

The job scope of the Customer Success Manager includes:

1) Customer Relationship Management (MAIN ROLE)

  • Maintain close corporate customer relationships by engaging them over the phone, meeting up, email and texting if necessary
  • Communicating closely to understand the customer's teams' dietary requirements and food preferences

2) Meal Planning (MAIN ROLE)

  • Plan for meals for corporate customers on subscription based on budget, nutritional needs & dietary requirements
  • Handle invoicing on website system for each order confirmed
  • Upselling and suggesting new products

3) Catering Customer Service Support

  • Answering corporate customer's query phone calls and emails
  • Taking customer's orders via phone and emails while making personal recommendations
  • Generating online invoices on the website system

4) Service Recovery

  • Troubleshoot when customers report problems
  • Manage customers expectations when problems arise, then appease them through service recovery
  • Follow-up with customer to ensure retention

5) Liaison with Restaurant Partners

  • Liaise with Catersmith's restaurant partners (Nara Thai, Wrap & Roll, Lean Bento, Maki-San etc) to come up with great menu options within customer's budget


Work Environment

  • Catersmith's office and warehouse is located near Pioneer MRT station, accessible via 2 buses from Boon Lay Interchange. Please consider the distance from where you stay before applying!
  • Telecommuting is exercised and can be considered depending on your working preferences
  • Our office is equipped with a gym and swimming pool. We have a strong emphasis on healthy living and encourage our staff to make use of the facilities during lunch break and after work.
  • Working hours are from 9am - 6pm, or 10am - 7pm if you prefer. Occassionally, there are large events that may require HQ's support, especially during peak seasons. This happens around 1 - 2 times per 2 months or so.
  • We have a team lunch and Forging Session to sync up the team every fortnight.

Requirements

We are looking for a youthful and bubbly person who is very personable and excellent at communicating with people. If you want to apply for this job, you must love people

You will be interacting and speaking to customers and restaurant partners on a daily basis. If you don't like to interact with or manage people, this is not the job for you.

This is also a fast-paced job, where things happen quickly. We need someone who can react fast and act decisively

 

Experience (optional)

  • Experience working in client servicing, sales or customer success teams in other start-ups
    OR
  • Held previous leadership positions in school committees or events


Compulsory Requirements

  • MUST be Singaporean / PR
  • MUST speak English fluently and write without grammatical errors to handle sales
  • Would be good if you are conversational in Mandarin, but this is optional
  • Basic mastery of Microsoft Word & Excel
