Account Management Executive - Restaurant Partners

Ever had average catered food? Catersmith is a business that aims to put an end to average catering by ushering in the age of catered food from quality restaurants. Our business handles the delivery and buffet line set-up for restaurants while they concentrate on what they do best - cooking. For customers, the Catersmith portal offers a wide range of hand-picked restaurants and cuisines to choose from. We are looking to hire people who are self-initiated, driven and are eager to learn through hands-on experiences. Interest in the food & logistics business is a plus!

Responsibilities

As the Restaurant Partner Account Manager, you will take charge of securing and on-boarding new Restaurant Partners + liaising with existing Restaurant Partners regularly.

Restaurant Partners are the restaurants that have signed up to start selling catered food with Catersmith.

 

Securing now Restaurant Partners

  • Generating Restaurant Partner leads
  • Cold calling / emailing them to request for a pitch meeting

 

On-boarding new Restaurant Partners

  • Collating information from the Restaurant Partner for their restaurant page on Catersmith
  • Develop the restaurant's catering menu and prepare it to be uploaded on the Catersmith site
  • Meeting with the restaurant partner to complete the on-boarding process.

 

Service the existing Restaurant Partners

  • Develop and finalise Restaurant Partner’s seasonal catering menus for festive periods 
  • Maintaining relationship between Catersmith and Restaurant Partner by meeting regularly. Ensure that their needs are met.

 

Managing Restaurant Partner's page on Catersmith's website

  • Liaise with website team to ensure all menus and other backend data is accurate
  • Update Restaurant Partner's photos and profile when required

 

Though your job scope requires you to mainly work in the office, to help you better understand our restaurant partners and their catering menus you will need to help out in operations on at least two catering jobs per month.  

 

Work Environment

  • Catersmith's office and warehouse is located near Pioneer MRT station, accessible via 2 buses from Boon Lay Interchange. Please consider the distance from where you stay before applying!
  • Our office is equipped with a gym and swimming pool. We have a strong emphasis on healthy living and encourage our staff to make use of the facilities during lunch break and after work.
  • Working hours are from 9am - 6pm, or 10am - 7pm if you prefer. Occassionally, there are large events that may require HQ's support, especially during peak seasons. This happens around 1 - 2 times per 2 months or so.
  • We have a team lunch and Forging Session to sync up the team every fortnight.

Requirements

Catersmith is made up of a young and energetic team. We are looking for an equally fun-loving team player who's a good communicator and is great with people.

 

Compulsory Requirements

  • MUST be Singaporean / PR
  • Excellent written English
  • Eloquent in English and Chinese
  • Adept at using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Friendly and personable
  • Proactive and goal driven
  • Attentive and pays attention to details

 

Experience (optional)

  • Experience working in client servicing, sales or customer success teams in other start-ups
    OR
  • Held previous leadership positions in school committees or events
     

It'd be great if these are your career goals:

  • Looking to eventually manage a small team (3 - 4 people as a start). Catersmith is still small now, but we are looking for a strong core team that will eventually rise to supervisor level.
  • Interest in joining a small but fast growing company in order to make change and leave a mark.
