Events Manager

Left Profile is a full-service entertainment agency founded in 2012 by Singapore’s top comedienne turned director, Michelle Chong. It provides talent management and a holistic range of bespoke event services. The exclusive boutique agency has since expanded globally to include selected international artistes in its stable and endevours to provide the best in artiste and event management.

The stellar Michelle Chong set up Huat Films in 2011 with a vision to produce quality entertainment that displays both originality and finesse. It launched with the movie ‘Already Famous’, which was written and directed by Michelle herself. She also starred in the film and it grossed more than $1m at the local box office in its opening week.

‘3 Peas in a Pod’ followed, starring Taiwanese pop star Calvin Chen of boyband Fahrenheit and Korean K-pop star Alexander Lee Eusebio formerly from U-Kiss. The coming-of-age road trip was shot in Australia against breath-taking views and opened to overwhelming fanfare and rave reviews.

In 2016, Huat Films launched its third movie ‘Lulu The Movie’, which hit S$2 million at the box office in one month with less than 30 print counts. It featured one of Chong’s most well-loved characters from a home-grown TV series.

Huat Films was named after a familiar local expression “Huat ah!” or, “to prosper”. It’s heard (loudly) during festivities and celebrations. And true to its origins, we’ve grown from telling Michelle’s stories through feature films, original series, and YouTube content to telling our clients’ stories with the same heart and humour.
