Senior PR & Communications Executive

Your tasks will include, but might not be limited to:

  • Being the front-liner of the company to provide a solid understanding of the company products and/or services
  • Working closely with the marketing team to develop, plan, implement and integrate marketing, PR, social media and communication plans and strategies
  • Communicating with colleagues and key spokespeople
  • Liaising with, and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Collating and analysing media coverage
  • Maintaining and updating information on the organisation's website
  • Writing and editing in-house stories, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports
  • Preparing and supervising the production of publicity material
  • Devising and coordinating photo opportunities
  • Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours
  • Assist in managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites
  • Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities;
  • Commissioning market research
  • Fostering community relations through events such as open days and so on
  • Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
  • Position is available to start immediately


 Skills/requirements you would need to possess:

  • Bachelor degree holder or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 year(s) experience in advertising, PR, marketing or equivalent
  • The ability to cope with pressure
  • Creativity, imagination and initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Drive, competence, flexibility and a willingness to learn
  • Business awareness and a good knowledge of current affairs
  • Tact and discretion, for dealing with confidential information
  • Proficiency in Photoshop Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop would be an added advantage
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • You have excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia writing and communication skills, and attention to detail. Knowledge of Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage
  • Must enjoy working in a start-up environment and attending a wide range of events
