Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities
  • Develop a strong base for sales network and pipeline
  • Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts as a business development manager
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • You will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Operation departments) to improve the entire customer experience
  • Making sure daily activities of client delivery is in excellence service
  • Prepare reports on account status

Requirements

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong command of the English language is a must
  • Highly resourceful and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Loves working with a passionate team but also able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Passionate about startups and the e-commerce industry
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proficient in IT
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions that caters to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Experience in the startup environment an added bonus
  • Experience in the travel industry is an added bonus
