Project Management Intern

We are looking for a Project Management Intern with a passion in wanting to learn how to manage clients projects.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Project Director/Manager in project documentation
  • Working with the PD/PM to effectively manage the client/agency within the confines of the allocated delivery projects – defining internal and external roles and responsibilities at project kick-off and ensuring communication is open, transparent and inline with the agreed communication plan
  • Effectively managing and monitoring the project team, ensuring that tasks are allocated and delivered according to the plan and escalate to the Project Manager where a deviation to plan is likely
  • Effectively managing change throughout the project lifecycle – monitoring, assessing and implementing the agreed change control process where required
  • Maintaining regular client and internal communication at all times ensuring that all methods of communication identified are provided when agreed
  • Acting as a quality gatekeeper for all client deliverables – ensure that standards are met and that nothing goes to the client that is not to standard
  • Act as a champion of Project Management and a role model to all other members of the company
  • Escalate issues which may affect the client relationship or may cause project slippage to the Project Manager as soon as possible
  • Carry out ad-hoc scheduling requests as required
