Associate Director, Business Development (Partnerships)

Neurotrend Pte Ltd is the Singapore-based entity of JSC NeuroTrend (Russia), which holds the IP rights of all neuroscientific technologies for the company outside of the CIS countries.

Since its founding in 2011, JSC NeuroTrend (Russia), has provided over 1000 consumer insight reports to a large number of companies including several international brands. JSC NeuroTrend has over 50 specialists in all areas of neuromarketing including well known professors in neuroscience and senior PhDs etc as part of the team.

NeuroTrend Pte Ltd intends to expand rapidly overseas with a target of over 200 labs in all the major cities within the next four years via partnerships with advertising agencies and media companies.

NeuroTrend will also establish a research and development lab in Singapore to develop its neuroscience capabilities, as well as an analytics lab of engineers and scientists to support its Russian facility in generating consumer reports for clients.


Overall responsibilities

The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in execution, together with the Singapore-based executive directors in building up the go-to-market strategy of Neuromarketing labs through joint partnerships across Asia.

The Manager will already be servicing multiple existing accounts and aid these accounts to setup their Neuromarketing labs.

Lastly, the Manager will devise sales strategies and techniques to reach out to potential new partners and generate leads for the Company, thereafter turning the leads into business deals.

Main Responsibilities

a.       Product Presentations and Negotiations
To deliver product presentations to partners on NeuroTrend’s suite of services to prospective partners. To identify, negotiate and convince potential partners to form a partnership.

b.      Business Development of Partnerships
Assist and follow-up all new partnership leads that are delivered by the executive directors. Acquire new partnership leads, prepare agreements on successful ones and build joint-neuromarketing labs.

c.       Partnership Management and relationship building
To communicate and work together with the product team to deliver Neuromarketing reports. To manage partner portfolios and handle all enquiries from the partners. To develop and build long-term relationships with partners.

d.      Accounts Receivables
Work with Finance team to ensure that partners remit outstanding receivables in a timely fashion.


Singaporean/PRs only
Minimum 5 years experience in Business Development servicing and acquiring large B2B corporate accounts
Require regular short-haul travelling to clients who are based overseas
Experience in Advertising industry
A good diploma and above in any related field in advertising, marketing, sales and communications
Excellent communication and written skills in English
Ability to work independently, meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure.
