Moovby is looking for a talented Ruby on Rails developer who is eager to explore many different approaches to solving user problems. We are based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will be expanding to Indonesia soon.

As a programmer at Moovby, you will help design, develop, and implement the code. You'll also have the opportunity to explore new product development.

We're happy to consider remote applicants depends on experiences. So, whether you're near Moovby HQ in sunny Kuala Lumpur or happily settled somewhere else, you may be the perfect addition to the team.

We use a wide range of technologies internally, and we don't hire based on a specific skillset. Whatever technologies, languages, or development environments you've been using, we expect you have mastered them in depth, and we expect that you will be able to master any technology, language, or development environment that we need in the future.


  • In-depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails Framework, Linux and Modern Web Technologies.
  • Ability to write clean, well-formed HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, using pre-processors such as Coffeescript and HAML.
  • Familiar with Rspec as well as Capybara.
  • Smart, analytical thinker who approaches work with logic and enthusiasm.
  • Great team attitude and able to work comfortably with technical teammates as well non-technical individuals.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar field of study.
