About the role

We are looking for an (Assistant) Finance Manager who looks after all elements of financial reporting.  Working closely with and reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter identifying what needs to be done and executing.  They need to have a strong control mindset and be very hands on.  They must have an ability to logically and independently prioritize tasks and stand up to challenge on justifying their priority ordering.


  • Oversee and control the company’s finance & accounting processes.
  • Manage all accounting operations including OTC, P2P, Payroll, Expense Claims, Fixed Assets, GST and Revenue Recognition.
  • Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency and/or reduce the control risk of finance processes.  Design and execute remediation plans.
  • Perform a monthly consolidation and intercompany elimination.
  • Design and implement month-end and year-end close timelines and processes.
  • Calculate and post monthly transfer pricing and intercompany recharge journals.
  • Review, document and update accounting controls, and procedures.
  • Engage with the technology team to develop straight through processing (STP) to the finance systems.
  • Assist in financial analysis and management reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards in all jurisdictions.
  • Maintain awareness of new accounting standards which will impact the company and plan out the adoption of these standards.
  • Coordinate with corporate secretaries and accounting services providers.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely remediation of deficiencies.
  • Present changes in financial processes to the global team.
  • Other ad-hoc finance related duties.



  • Candidate must possess a professional accounting qualification.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good project management skills and very hands-on attitude.

  • Good communication and presentation skills with an ability to tailor appropriately to the audience.
