Regional Sales Director (APAC - Europe)

The Job:

  • Lead and direct the sales team with the goal of exceeding sales revenue, sales profitability and budgetary objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Manage staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop sales talent.
  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate go-to market strategies.
  • Represent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales colleagues.
  • Attend meetings with Outbound sales colleagues and actively negotiate terms of business with new and existing clients.
  • Develop win-win relationships with clients and deliver the best creative solutions at all times.
  • Monitor customers, markets and competitor activities, and provide feedback to the management.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Manage sales budget for the region effectively.
  • Seek out preferred collaboration agreements to achieve marketing objectives.

Requirements

The Person:

  • Bachelor degree in business, marketing or relevant field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in global sales or related field.
  • Candidates with e-commerce/IT/SaaS experience will be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership & coaching skills.
  • Must be results-driven.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong team management and communication skills.
  • Good command of English (verbal and written).
  • Able to travel across countries.
