Sales Development Executive

We hire ambitious people to take senior roles in startups. We give the idea, we provide the support, guidance, and mentoring. And then those hires just need to deliver.

Our team of 50 consists of two Oxford graduates, an Imperial College London graduate, a Reading University graduate and qualified lawyer, a Melbourne University PhD student who dropped out to pursue an opportunity with us, and a commercial pilot who gave up his career to join us.

Our senior management consists of an ex-PriceWaterhouseCoopers Chartered Accountant, and a former Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse Vice President.

Responsibilities

About Payroll Panda

PayrollPanda is Malaysia’s leading HR cloud-based platform that enables SMEs to increase HR productivity. Features include payroll, leave management, timesheets and more. PayrollPanda is part of LaunchPad, a venture builder that identifies and maximises tech-related opportunities.

The Sales Development Executive supports PayrollPanda’s  growth through taking ownership over a variety of initiatives while learning from an experienced sales team. Tasks and responsibilities include:

 

  • Qualify and follow-up with inbound leads via phone and email

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls

  • Understand customer needs and requirements

  • Drive daily sales activities including sales calls, scheduling of meetings and implementing sales strategies

  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

  • Work closely with the field sales team to coordinate meetings  and further optimise sales strategy

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

  • 1-3 years experience in sales/inbound sales with a proven track-record

  • Experience in Business to Business lead generation and sales is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail, structured and a desire to learn and succeed

  • Available to start work within 1 month (preferred)

  • Must be fluent in English and Malay
