Comfort Works aims to breathe new life into living rooms across the globe, and we do this by creating beautiful handmade slipcovers for your old, tired sofas. Every aspect of our operations is done in-house, from web development to online marketing and content creation. To product design and product manufacturing. Nothing is outsourced. We design with the belief that we can live simple and beautiful by trying to revive the hidden potential of our old furniture and doing our part for the planet. Before we knew it, Comfort Works expanded into a huge range of products specializing in IKEA sofa covers, custom furniture slipcovers and other complementary accessories.

 

Responsibilities

Position: Digital Marketing & Customer Service Specialist 
Location: Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur
Nature of Business: E-commerce
Salary: RM 5000 - according to experience
Benefit: MSC Registered Company, Working Visa, Medical Insurance, International Colleagues from around the world, Company trip, Yearly return flight to Japan.
Japanese Language: Native 
Skill & Experience: 2-3 years in customer service/marketing, Able to speak confidently in English internally.

Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and aspires to be extraordinary, particularly in their career success and personal growth.  Previous experience in customer service, online marketing, social media management (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Wordpress/Blogger platforms) will be given priority.

Here, all our Customer Experience Heros will be trained in Digital Marketing. You will be thrown into a world of SEO, Ad Words, Analytics, Social Media Marketing and International Relationship Marketing.

Below is a snapshot of the position's roles and responsibilities:

Online Marketing Tasks (60% of your time) :

  • Build landing pages for product launches for the Japanese Market
  • Strategize delivery and schedule Facebook posts (videos, images, infographics, content, questions, etc)
  • Plan and execute your own photography & videography for product launches for the Japanese Market
  • Researching strategic growth opportunities and partnerships.
  • Contribute to brainstorming ideas and researching best practices for growing and scaling social media strategies.
  • Analyze and grow the number of organic visits, leads, revenue and engagement to identify trends and give recommendations for content creation.
  • Engaging the Japanese customer community through creative content writing.


Customer Experience Tasks (30% of your time):

  • Provide an amazing, personalized experience for each customer through various support channels such as emails, blogs, social media etc.
  • Effectively diagnose and solve day-to-day customer concerns and issues.
  • Applying the delight philosophy and following communication standards.
  • Ensure feedback flows to various teams in Comfort Works to improve our services.
  • Provide accurate data and feedback in order to create better product and customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Marketing, Communications or related major, or if you just have a strong passion and knowledge of online user experience and customer service, we are okay with that too!
  • Motivated by communicating with customers and helping others all day.
  • Fun and friendly attitude with a passion for personal development.
