We’re looking for an energetic, creative, and technically savvy person who loves marketing and is excited to be on the front line of a dynamic start-up company. The Marketing Automation/Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for email marketing strategies, email automation, and customer marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will take initiative on building/growing these programs, analyzing success, and recommending improvements. This person will work with a driven and productive marketing team to distill company goals, products, best practices, and industry trends to both prospects and customers.



This position is responsible for all campaign and performance analytics. Will conduct regular strategic testing of everything from design, subject line, segments and cadence.


  • Good knowledge in creating workflows and Implement and schedule approved email templates into Hubspot.

  • Implement A/B testing strategies and future testing roadmap, championing industry best practices in campaign management, data hygiene methodologies

  • Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness including email and conversion metrics, generating campaign insights using closed-loop reporting between marketing automation and CRM, including website and landing page traffic, familiarity with Google Analytics.

  • Utilize a test, measure, learn approach to iterate and optimize campaigns to drive the best possible results, plugging any leaks in the lead funnel.

  • Collaborate with sales operations on enhancing and troubleshooting issues with the lead management process and integrations with marketing automation platforms.

  • Champion the quality of data in our marketing automation platform and CRM system; collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure required data is captured at all customer touch points.

  • Analyze competitor email programs including the development of counter strategies and initiatives.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of email best practices including deliverability, personalization, subject lines, reporting, send time optimization, etc.

  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools

  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

  • Deep understanding of the latest trends/challenges/capabilities in the email marketing space

  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to find inventive ways to improve campaign performance and evolve the marketing automation platforms to deliver support across demand generation channels for the various business units within the organization

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team.

  • Collaborates with content creators in order to send messages efficiently, timely, and free of errors.
