Operations Intern

Established in 2016, Hmlet is a tech coliving company. We offer rooms and full apartments for rent in the heart of the city. We are ona mission to simplify housing for people from all around the world relocating to or living in Singapore and Tokyo.

We have just raised our first Seed round of 1,5M USD and are going through our fastest growth expansion phase so far. We plan to double our membership base in the next few months and can use some help!

About the product: our basic premise is to offer rooms for rent in serviced shared flats - what happens on top of that is Coliving |-> the special sauce we put together to make every one of our member-tenants enjoy their homes at the fullest

Responsibilities

In this role you will learn how a building is managed from a serviced apartment perspective but also on a whole building level. You will learn how a hospitality start-up is run and what day-to-day operations are like. We will ask you to:

  • Fielding and assigning requests submitted through Salesforce support cloud (we will teach you to use the software, a precious skill to have)

  • Ensuring our buildings are well maintained and clean including handling contractors  

  • Ordering consumables and managing stock

  • Overseeing specific tasks from end-to-end in the buildings we are opening up

  • Liaising with members on specific cases

Requirements

Customer service and sales experience

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Cold outreach experience a plus

Understanding and experience managing people

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

Demonstarte intergrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

Passion and understanding for enterpreneurial communities

Passion and understanding for wework mission and value

 

Salary

700 - 1000 SGD
