Marketing and Content Specialist

Tickle is a new, original marketplace for experiences.

3 in 4 millennials spend their dollar on experiences instead of a physical good. Tickle is the marketplace they'll hit up to jump into their next new experience.

Anyone can be a host on Tickle, and our team helps to curate and refine experiences to keep quality high and help attract more demand. It's a great way to #sidehustle, which sharing your passion and earning a living.

Guests on Tickle buy the experience through our mobile apps on iOS and Android, (web app coming soon). Instead of bingeing on Netflix again, they can join social experiences that are fun, thoughtful and of course, instagrammable.

Responsibilities

You’ll be meeting a lot of people from all walks of life, learning to run different parts of the business, hands on with marketing and social media, look and track data to make business decisions, be taken to partnership meetings, and working directly with the founders.  

Host Acquisition:
You'll be talking to our hosts, onboarding them, and getting new hosts interested and onboard Tickle! You're an intergral part of building our experience marketplace.

Content Creation:
As we soft launch, you'll be creating content across the blog, social media, ads and email. You'll learn how to grow users in a startup and be very hands on with the process. The content includes writing, designing and using the different platforms to schedule, post, measure and analyse performance. You'll be an effective digital marketer.

Other Marketing Responsibilities:
When we launch, you'll be dealing with the press, learn how to write a press release, produce a media kit, and run a press launch. You'll track where we've been covered, and measure the impact of that coverage. Once launched, you'll learn how to strategise campaigns and run them independently, and work together with the product team to continuously improve the app through feedback from our users.

About the Role:
This role is only for Singaporeans/PRs. It is a 2-month internship where you rapidly learn practical skills in Marketing and become a practicing professional in 2 months. Thereafter, you will be offered a full-time role at the company, with the commensurate salary and equity.

Requirements

We can't wait to meet you, if you:

- Have an excellent command of English

- Learn fast and have a high initiative

- Are hungry to grow in a startup environment

- Can work independently once given clear direction and support

- Have a Marketing, Communications, Visual Communication or Arts Management background

- Love to meet new people

- Are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (photos and illustration) and Video-Editing

- Are proficient in short-form copy-writing, able to write articles as well

- Are Singaporean / Singapore PR (our company isn't eligible to apply for work passes, so unfortunately all foreign applications will be ignored)

Salary

750 - 2200 SGD
