What You Will Be Doing:

  • To ensure daily accounts data entries are up to date in the systems to meet financial closing deadline
  • To ensure the customers / suppliers invoices, debit note & credit notes in accounting systems are prepared and updated accurately.
  • To maintain Fixed Assets Register and performing bank reconciliations in timely and accurate manner.
  • To ensure daily banking transaction is done in accurate manner.
  • Co-ordinate with accounting teams to ensure smooth implementation and compliance of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Reporting to and assisting Finance Manager on the daily operation activities of accounting department.
  • To verify staffs claim
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Assist in monthly inventory stock take
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by management from time to time

Requirements

What You Need For This Position:

  • At least Professional and above in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong capabilities to work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Autocount accounting software will be an added advantage
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
