Chief Marketing Officer

We help reduce fashion waste by selling gently loved top premium branded fashion pieces online.


Chief Marketing Officer's primary responsibility is to generate sales by increasing brand awareness, increase revenue through successful marketing for the entire organization, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations.

Our ideal candidate will have a solid marketing pedigree and work experience in a multitude of promotional campaigns from brainstorming to execution with effective results. Promotional experience includes paid advertising campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, market research, and consumer loyalty and retention programs.

You will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be working cooperatively with our design, operations, finance, and other relative departments within the company and its affiliates. Speed, efficiency, and the ability to complete projects and delegate tasks in an organized, mission-driven fashion are paramount. You should be able to ensure that the tasks and goals of the Marketing department are an asset to our startup’s near and long-term success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive local, regional, and national marketing and branding campaigns.
  • Manage advertising campaigns on our social media platforms.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness.
  • Set near and long-term goals and measurement for the Marketing department.
  • Design and review the Marketing department’s budget on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Build relationships with media (social, print, radio, TV, magazines, billboards, podcasts, YouTube, Google, etc.) and stakeholders through creative PR strategies.
  • Oversee all marketing initiatives and adapt/improve based on market trends, current events, and any/all types of followings through social media, blogs, etc.
  • Allocate marketing budget and resources accordingly.
  • Prepare weekly reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events.
  • Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department and report to the CEO.
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives.
  • Track upcoming and potential competitors’ activities.

  • 3+ years of well-rounded marketing or business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility - with a focus on marketing expansion, experiences in e-commerce and fashion is a plus point
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
