Legal Executive

We were founded as an incubator in 2007, focusing on investments in start-up companies in the bioenergy-related industries and was successfully listed on the MESDAQ Market of Bursa Securities (now known as ACE Market of Bursa Securities) in 2008. Candidates who fulfil the following requirements are invited to apply for the position of Legal Executive.


Job Requirements:


  • Possess a recognised Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) with Honours;
  • Minimum of Three (3) years of working experience as a Legal Counsel;
  • Must have strong drafting and research skills;
  • Possess strong written and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (knowledge in Mandarin will be an added advantage);
  • Candidates must be familiar with Malaysian Laws;
  • Able to manage time well and meet strict deadlines;
  • Candidates who possess a Certificate or Legal Practice (CLP) (or its equivalent) and has been called to the Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor will have an added advantage;
  • Candidates who have experience in the practice areas of Corporate or Commercial Law will have an added advantage; and
  • Candidates familiar with the Bursa Listing requirements will have an added advantage.


Job Responsibilities:  


  • Assist the legal department of the Company and all its Incubatees to review and draft all required legal documents;
  • To assist the legal department to review or prepare legal opinions;
  • Conducting legal due diligence and research on recent legal developments;
  • To provide legal advice to the Company at any business meetings as and when required;
  • To manage or liaise with external solicitors and other third-party advisors on the Company’s legal matters;
  • To advice the Human Resources Department on any internal legal matters arising; and
  • Attend to any other legal matter as required from time to time.
