Marketing Manager

The Xpress Train is located at Mall of Medini, Iskandar Puteri, Johor. We help businesses Develop, Launch and Grow their product(s). Our services include co-working space, venture builder and business consultancy providing technological solutions. We are promoting leading technology in southern region of Malaysia, and is the first of its kind venture builder in this region.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for defining a marketing strategy and roadmap to increase brand awareness, improve online consumer engagement and drive site traffic, conversion rate and sales. You will be responsible in scaling up our user acquisition strategies. You will work closely with the CEO, helping the company to reach its next stage of growth.

Responsibilities:

PAID CHANNELS

1.Manage the day to day operations of all of our active Paid Channels (FB Ads, Retargeting)

2.Scale up and allocate efficiently our marketing budget across our paid channels, while trying to lower at the same time our overall CAC

 

ORGANIC CHANNELS

Email Marketing

1.Set up a comprehensive automated email campaigns’ strategy with the objective of increasing our customers’ retention and LTV

 

Onsite Marketing

1.Periodically collect qualitative and quantitative customers’ insights, so to always have a crystal-clear understanding of our services’ areas of improvement

2.Go for outdoor marketing when necessary

 

 Data Analysis with Tracking & Reporting

1.Daily/weekly/monthly analysis of each channels performances, enabling a timely and dynamic allocation of our marketing budget

2.Advanced monthly cohort analysis of our different markets and acquisition channels

3.Evaluate marketing campaign and spend effectiveness

4.Analyse and explain site metrics trends and recommend analytics-driven changes to brand

 

Campaign Management

1.Plan, manage and execute marketing programs and campaigns

2.Take ownership of platform consolidated annual, quarterly and monthly campaign calendar

3.Define business requirements, operational metrics and key performance indicators for campaign measurement

4.Proactively identify and resolve issues and roadblocks that arise during the course of campaign execution

5.Execute and analyse campaigns to ensure and maximize effectiveness and produce optimal ROI

6.Produce publicity material, design posters and other material for marketing purposes

7.Work with other team members to execute the marketing campaign

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

  1. A degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field.
  2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales, project management, business development and marketing.
  3. Experienced in digital and social media marketing, SEO, SEM and offline marketing.
  4. Excellent knowledge of web analytics platforms.
  5. Experience and/or high interest in technology startups & business
  6. Strong analytical mindset – experience with data-driven metrics to manage and measure business impact
  7. Skilled at influencing opinion to accomplish business goals and objectives while maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
  8. Demonstrated success driving cross-functional initiatives to completion
  9. Decisive, can make sound decisions in the face of pressure
  10. Extremely detail orientated with strong sense of work prioritization
  11. Outgoing, proactive, fast-learning, independent and innovative genuinely passionate about marketing and start-ups
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint
  13. Fluent in English and Malay; other language capabilities are a plus especially Mandarin
  14. Possess own transport
