Infoshift is looking for an experienced and talented SysAd/DevOps engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has attention to detail, an interest in working with cutting edge technology, and a desire to constantly expand their skill set.

Responsibilities (What You'll Be Doing)
- Deploy, Automate, Monitor and Innovate.
- Implement infrastructure and architectural designs
- Maintain best practices for technical operations
- Support development and testing environments on the cloud for customers.
- Writing server automation scripting
- Setting-up and configuring AWS services to best practices.
- Learn and explore new technologies with little supervision.
- Building and managing automated deployment, cloud monitoring and enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.


Qualifications (What You'll Need)
- At least 5 years’ experience in technical operations
- Linux/Unix System administration, DevOps best practices and engineering experience
- Hands on ability to manage and automate the operational stack
- Self-sufficient, self-motivated and reliable
- Demonstrated leadership as a mentor or team lead expected.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong appreciation of the factors necessary for successfully managing large and complex cloud infrastructure, operations and its applications.
- Amazon Web Services (EC2 & EBS, S3, VPC, RDS, etc) and other cloud technologies
- Experience with Nginx or other web server configuration
- Experience with application containers
- Bonus Points: Nagios, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, Openstack IaaS, Rackspace, Google Cloud, Windows Azure, Core OS, and Docker
- You must be willing to work with young and hip people
