As a funding-backed, start up based here in Singapore, the team is now expanding to prepare for expansion both locally and into the regional market. With our four experienced Founders spread across the globe and coming from different nationalities, the key thing that binds us is this – We’re here to build a kickass start up based on hard work, creativity and having fun while we do it!

Responsibilities

We’re looking for someone to project manage Drawing Board Events’ tech development, which includes managing and overviewing code as produced by our team of contractors, systems administration and server side work.

This salaried role will initially be for 2 days a week. For the right person, this will lead into a fulltime, Tech Partner/Co-founder role with equity, upon the business achieving certain milestones within a 6-9 month timeframe. The incumbent will also be expected to take on coding and development duties when the role grows into a fulltime one.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager ideally. However, recent graduates with an excellent academic track record but without the formal experience listed below are invited to apply if they can demonstrate and evidence the skills needed.

  • Minimum 3 years of web application development experience
  • Required programming experience with: Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS, Javascript, AngularJS, CoffeeScript, MongoDB
  • Systems administration experience with Ubuntu, nginx, MongoDB, load balancing, and cloud computing with EC2, Rackspace, or similar
  • Demonstrable experience in developing scalable web application architectures
  • Minimum 3 years of Agile project management experience leading a team of developers with portfolio of delivered applications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
