Reap wants to realize the potential and impact of the SME segment. We have created a platform that enables growth for SMEs through access to instant credit. Reap is a platform that allows Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to pay all operating expenses (ie. rent, salaries, suppliers, etc.) using a credit card. Through credit cards, SMES would gain instant access to inexpensive capital and immediately improve operational cash flow/working capital. Founded by an early Stripe employee and a former investor in emerging markets Asia, Reap looks to leverage transaction data and existing banking relationships to build a full stack credit-based payments system for all Asian SMEs.
Reap is looking for a full-time Business Development Lead!
We at Reap are looking for motivated people, comfortable within a flexible early start-up environment, capable of taking initiative and driving new ideas forward.
You will be one of the first core hires and this is a very exciting opportunity to join a promising company.
As a sales lead, you will be generating new business opportunities, leads and develop sales opportunities with SMEs here in Hong Kong. You will be able to recognize client needs and accordingly provide our value proposition to the client. Going forward, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong sales pipeline with the ability to forecast sales revenue accurately. You will also be collaborate closely with developers, designers, UX experts and marketing teams and you will also have direct access to strategic and business decision makers.
Pay will be based on strong talent and experience, highly target and performance driven.
Skills & Experiences Required
· 2+ years of sales/business development experience
· Fluent in English and Cantonese
· Familiar with local business environment in Hong Kong
· Great communication skills
· Great follow up and follow through skills
· Hunter mentality – Superior prospecting abilities
· Professional, trustworthy, driven, engaging, enthusiastic, friendly and articulate
· Ability to work well in a team and individually
· Ability to build new business and expand the territory
· Ability to successfully lead business development through each phase of the sales cycle
· Experience working in a fast paced start-up environment will be a PLUS point
