Community Manager will be responsible for developing and managing key initiatives as part
of an integrated plan to drive user growth, for BuyandShip’s user base at large. You must be driven, independent, a self-starter, analytical, and love solving problems.
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
· At least a BA in Communications, Marketing or related field
· At least 2+ years in developing and executing engagement and retention campaigns and/or building and growing online communities’ / community management, preferably on social media for consumer Internet services
· Ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership
· Ability to read and understand data sets to derive actionable intelligence
· Strong ability to multi-task, problem solve and work independently
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Love for helping people
· Passion for online communities, social websites, shopping and travel
· Written and spoken knowledge of at least one other language (preferably Mandarin)
· Gather relevant information and articulate strategy to increase user growth and promote user loyalty.
· Lead user development and work together with Country Manager on a day-to-day basis to develop marketing strategies as well as cultivate community-like relationships across teams to identify and solve issues.
· Identify shopping trends, products to features, and create campaigns that will drive the right kind of community engagement and executing them.
· Grow BuyandShip’s community through various online and offline efforts.
