Job requirements for the internship developer:
To maintain and improve the company website technology and design
To improve the look and performance of our website and to optimise our SEO. You will work closely with the team on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include:
· writing code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as PHP or JavaScript;
· deciding on the best technologies and languages for the project;
· testing sites in different browsers and environments;
· problem solving;
· fixing bugs in existing projects;
· testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases;
· running performance benchmarking tests;
· gathering requirements from clients and users;
· building and maintaining databases;
· refactoring and optimising existing code;
· documenting code so other developers can understand and contribute to it;
· designing information architecture within the website.
· Skills required:
Knowledge of PHP, HTML and CSS
Experience on Parse and similar back end is required.
We expect the hired personnel(s) to be proactive, and to bring on the table suggestions and new ideas.
