Beam is redefining storage and making life clutter-free for space starved residents and businesses. An on-demand concierge storage solution, through Beamâs mobile app you always have a full view of all your items in storage. Beam is a more flexible and cost-effective solution as you only pay for what you store. Launching in Singapore in June.
This internship is primarily for technology support in a VC-funded/built tech startup at Block 71 (One North), which is developing a platform that will disrupt the storage industry. You will help build our tech infrastructure, as well as adapting the technology for use in marketing and sales/business development efforts.
The role provides great exposure to not just a broad range and types of technologies, but also provides you with the opportunity to shape business and marketing operations. Youâll have a tremendous impact on the success of the company.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced team of entrepreneurs, with diverse background in finance, venture capital, business development, logistics, software development and IT.
Website design
Misc development with PHP (on Code Igniter 2/3, Laravel, or other frameworks), VB/C#.net, JS, HTML5/CSS, possibly some Ruby on Rails or C++) for web, mobile, and desktop.
MySQL/MariaDB
PPC
SEO
Minor misc development
Web and mobile analytics
Basic data analysis and reporting
Graphics with Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Sketch
Server configuration (web, database, and mail servers running on top of CentOS. Windows servers may be added in the future.)
