OVERVIEW
Edgebotix developed a versatile robotics platform to better teach students concepts in computer science, robotics and mechatronics. The eBot is a wireless programmable robot with various sensors and actuators including: motors, LEDâs, buzzer, encoders, IR sensors, ultrasonic sensors, 6-axis accelerometer,light, temperature,current and voltage sensors.With newer wireless technologies, code deployment and execution on the eBot is extremely simple. It is designed to maximize student engagement and interest while still providing an excellent learning experience. The platform can be used for STEM education in high schools as well as more advanced topics taught in the post-secondary level including: control systems, path planning, and artificial intelligence.The platform will provide a seamless teaching experience at various levels of education. Its extensible platform allows eBots to be easily integrated with multiple software packages all the while meeting specific performance requirements.
