INTERNSHIP: BUSINESS DEV. & PRODUCT ANALYST I. GENERAL SUMMARY

Who are we?

Excess Inventory Guru (EIG), a Singapore based startup is in the midst of launching its very own B2B eCommerce marketplace focused on companies in the manufacturing and supply chain sectors. Already off to a great start, we have garnered interest from more than 30 companies in Singapore but we will definitely need much more to become a credible regional marketplace. Our vision does not stop there, we want to become the largest B2B industrial marketplace globally. If you think you have the cool factor for the role, read on!

Location: 7 Jalan Kilang, #07-01, Singapore 159407. In a super awesome start-up hub space with our own area but with the buzz!

II. SPECIFIC DUTIES

The internship has 5 main specific tasks: • Support Product Team as the “voice of the customer” in terms of user experience • Support the development of “go-to-market” collaterals and product documentation • Support the development of business development pitches and presentation • Support the development of investment pitch documents for the company’s next round of funding • Market research on products being developed to garner user opinions

To support the above task, general duties would include:

• Support Product team in Product Testing, opinions on application flows for better consumer experience • Support Product team in consumer research and response on functionalities to include in new versions of applications • Manage sales-related and marketing administrative projects that include running marketing and sales reports, conducting research on company and other assignments in database • Assist in sales pitch production and presentation • Assist in unsolicitated calls to secure new customers • Assist in writing and editing sales and marketing materials, which include articles, presentations, white papers, and collateral • Provide assistance in creating and enhancing the marketing campaigns • Provide assistance in terms of logistics to go to market roll-outs • Serve as liaison between advertising agencies and the company, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various marketing services

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduates in business management, technology and/or marketing • Must have very strong POWERPOINT skills • Love mobile technology and its applications • Have some experience in building business plans or sale pitches • Ability to build relationships internally and externally, interfacing • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • “Can do” attitude, team player, fun, energetic personality, works well under pressure • Enjoys working in a Silicon Valley styled internet start-up culture with requires a “hands on” attitude • Some experience in Photoshop, HTML would be beneficial
