FundedHere was founded in Singapore in 2015 and we are the first Singapore home-grown platform that offers equity crowdfunding and lending-based crowdfunding. Equity crowdfunding is a financing mechanism through which investors invest in startups in exchange for equity holdings. Such share holdings will entitle them to future capital gains as well as dividends declared by the startups. Lending-based crowdfunding allows investors to lend money to a company and receive the company’s legally-binding commitment to repay the loan at pre-determined time intervals and interest rate. We’re looking for a brave-face, a leader, young at heart, driven and experienced in leading a team of young’uns. If you’re motivated to nurture, grow and develop a startup with its feet firm on the ground, we want you. We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) to oversee FundedHere’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of how the business is run. The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, with a direct reporting line to the CEO and an indirect reporting line to the Board of Directors. You’ll have to maintain control of (a) an existing business operation - running start-up campaigns from front to end and (b) a new business segment in the area of building a secondary market in Singapore. We’re a young company (a few weeks shy of 2 years old!) hence change is constant, and fast, so being able to deal with this is essential. Having excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics are other important attributes of an effective COO. If you’re our person, we’d love to meet you. The goal of the COO position is simple – (excellent and efficient) business as usual so as to drive extensive and sustainable growth. Responsibilities • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision • Oversee daily operations of the company • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics • Write and submit reports to the CEO and the Board of Directors in all matters of importance • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.) • Manage relationships with partners/vendors Requirements • Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc. • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development • Experience in fundraising will be a plus • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus Do you feel that you have an infectious energy and want to be part of our amazing team?
