OVERVIEW

At IRR Engineering, we'll be consolidating our work around a Rails, SASS, CodeShip, CodeClimate, Jira, Slack, Digital Ocean stack (if you know Ember and feel that you can get us there, even better). Prior experience with these technologies is not required. We're just starting out, so you can expect processes to be rock-steady within 12 months. Sooner if you help to make it happen. 

You'll be working on-site in a shared-services center with multiple product owners and associated businesses, on web, and eventually native mobile applications. Our base compensation scale is tiered as follows, and will scale gradually as individuals progress between tiers:

Junior DevOps Engineer - RM4,000
Senior DevOps Engineer - RM7,000
Engineering Manager - RM15,000

UI/UX/industrial Designers must be able to deliver in CSS3. Salary commensurate with portfolio.

Operations Executive / Business Analyst - RM4,000
Other generalist roles graduate upwards from that figure.

MISSION

To research, develop, and operate software and hardware applications, as required for the business operations of the subsidiaries and associated companies of IdeaRiverRun Sdn Bhd.

CULTURE

Basically, we get to do whatever we want, as long as delivery up to expectations. The engineering team has its own annual budget, and reports to the Project Director ("CTO"), not to product owners. The engineering team is responsible for maintaining its relationships with and the expectations of all stakeholders, including product owners, engineers, and the board. The engineering team runs a service desk, with all stakeholders having full visibility to all issues, their priorities, and their processes.
