Mobike is the world’s first station-less bike share service: pick up a bike and return it to any public bicycle parking. In short, it is the “UBER of bicycles”. Mobike solves the last mile problem and incarnates a revolutionary lifestyle. It's also a much healthier means of transportation that reduces congestion & pollution. Mobike was founded in Beijing in January 2015 (one of the founders is UBER Shanghai’s ex GM) and is now operating in 3 Chinese cities (Beijing, Shanghai & Guangzhou), with 10 more cities to come before the end of 2016. Mobike is a Chinese company starting its internationalisation, thus we foresee many cultural and economical differences to overcome as we expand to brand new markets. Mobike is funded and backed by local and international Venture Capitals (Rounds A, B, B+ in 2016), and also strongly supported by the Chinese government to help with Mobike’s operations and to promote the company’s service. As part of Mobike’s internationalization plan in 2016, we are looking to build the Singapore team to launch our service in Singapore. This team will be part of an exciting journey to learn from the Chinese operations and adapt the business model to suit the needs of Singapore citizens. The team will have the opportunities to operate in Singapore or even go global and most importantly, become a part of Mobike’s first team in a brand new market.
