We're looking for a Digital and Electronics practice lead at OMG. This role will be suitable for you if you are familiar with analog electronics, microcontrollers (Arduino & variants) and microcomputers (Raspberry PI, Beaglebone etc...) and have completed some projects using these platforms.

We work with lots of people who are new to electronics, so you'll need to be safety conscious, meticulous and able to advise others on appropriate equipment and component purchases. Of course, it goes without saying that you must love sharing your love for Electronics and the Maker Movement with everyone!

Able to consult, advise & execute the steps to fulfil electronics portion of prototyping projects

The drafting of and enforcement of safety guidelines, incident reporting standards and adherence to fire safety guidelines for digital and electronics equipment.

Preparation and conduct of digital and electronic basic use lesson plans and related software training plans.

Preparation and enforcement of a preventive maintenance schedule for all digital and electronic equipment with the target of achieving 90% uptime of equipment at any point in time.

Maintenance of IT related equipment

Safe operation of all digital and electronics equipment.

Requirements:

Singaporean

Minimum Diploma

1-2 years of experience working on real world projects.

Enjoy making stuff

Able to communicate effectively in English

Able to type and communicate in Chinese over email - due to need to purchase items from China - would be an added advantage.
